Rooted Reality is in beta

This agreement is between you and Rooted Reality LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“Rooted Reality”, “we”). It covers the private beta of Rooted Reality for coding agents, a small recorder and a desktop app for your Mac.

It is beta software, and the record can be incomplete. The recorder may miss programs and connections that last only a moment, and it may show some things late. The beta is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss from using it, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us, which is nothing.

The beta is free. It needs no account and no payment details.

The app updates itself in the background, without asking. An update applies the next time you open the app, and the app tells you. It checks for updates only after you agree. Each check sends the app’s version and your Mac’s chip type and, like any web request, shows your network address to our website’s host. We don’t read those logs.
