Refund & Cancellation Policy

Current billing posture

Public checkout is currently off. Any early-access billing is handled manually during onboarding, and this page will be updated before any self-serve subscription flow is turned on.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page or through the Stripe customer portal. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for the next billing period.
  • Access to subscription features continues through the end of the paid period.
  • After the paid period ends, subscription features stop unless you renew again.

Refunds

Rooted Reality offers a prorated refund for the unused portion of your current billing period if you cancel within 7 days of being charged. To request a refund:

  • Email support@rootedreality.com with your account email and the reason for your request.
  • Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.
  • After 7 days from the charge date, refunds are not available, but you may cancel to prevent future charges.

Plan changes

Plan changes during early access are coordinated manually. Founder-led households may have manual billing coordination until any future self-serve billing flow is ready.

Grace period

If a payment fails, Rooted Reality provides a 3-day grace period during which your subscription features remain active. If payment is not resolved within the grace period, access will be downgraded until payment succeeds.
