Club privacy notice
Small list, plain rules
This notice covers the Family Tech Club interest forms — what they collect, why, and how to be removed.
What the interest forms collect
The parent form asks for your name, email, and — all optional — a phone number, your general area, how many children are interested, broad age ranges, schooling type, scheduling preferences, experience level, topics of interest, volunteer interests, accessibility considerations, and comments.
The volunteer form asks for your name, email, and — optionally — your general location, background, skills, availability, and a message.
We deliberately do not ask for children’s names, birthdates, contact details, home addresses, or any medical information. Please don’t include those in free-text fields.
Why we collect it
For one purpose: planning the founding Family Tech Club program — understanding local interest, shaping the age range and schedule, and emailing you planning updates you asked for. Submissions are stored on Rooted Reality’s own infrastructure; we do not use third-party form services, and we do not sell or share this information.
Email confirmation and unsubscribe
After you submit, we send one confirmation email so we know the address is really yours. Every club email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from all club emails at once.
Deletion
Email hello@rootedreality.com from the address you signed up with and we’ll delete your submission entirely.
Who this site is for
This site and its forms are directed to parents, guardians, and adult volunteers. Children do not register themselves here, and any future club communication will go through parents and guardians.
The Rooted Reality product is separate
The Family Tech Club interest list is separate from the Rooted Reality software. Joining this list creates no product account and shares nothing with product systems. The product’s own privacy policy lives at rootedreality.com/privacy.
